Information about voting by mail or voting early in Milwaukee County

Each local municipality is responsible for their own early vote hours and locations. Below is early vote information for each municipality in Milwaukee County, as well as contact information for municipality. Please note: this information could change, and if you have any questions we encourage you to reach out to your local clerk directly.

Leadership MKE strongly encourages all voters to request and cast an absentee mail ballot for the upcoming election on April 7.

The deadline to request an absentee ballot by mail is 5:00pm on Thursday, April 2. To request an absentee mail ballot for the upcoming spring election on April 7, please visit https://myvote.wi.gov/en-US/VoteAbsentee

All absentee ballots must be received by your municipal clerk by Election Day for them to count. You may drop off your completed absentee ballot at your polling location or municipal clerk's office on Election Day.

The period for online voter registration is now closed. Voters may still register in-person on Election Day or at their in-person early vote location.
